This island sea side summer vacation rental offers an open concept living with fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living area with a cozy wood fireplace and sun room with door to the open section deck as well as the screened in section all with your comfort in mind.
The beach house has 4 bedrooms upstairs all with ceiling fans. Master bedroom with king bed and ensuite also offers a wood fireplace and patio door to the top deck and large ocean view. Second bedroom has queen bed, sofa bed and sliding door to the ocean view deck. Third bedroom has 2 single beds and an additional trundle bed. Fourth Bedroom has a double bed. All linen, bath and beach towels are provided.
Selkie Shores is a nature lover's paradise with the beach out your door and sand spit to the east for you to explore. To those who like to try island traditions the be sure to go digging for clams, swimming, beach combing or just relaxing watching the eagles soar above. Those that love being on the water can try their hand at kayaking, two are provided with life jackets for your enjoyment.
You are only 20 minutes to the town of Historical village or Cardigan and Georgetown. The largest town in eastern PEI is Montague it is 25 minutes away from the cottage. There you can find dining, grocery stores, liquor store, shopping, crafts, fresh markets, hospital, museum and much more.

Eastern Prince Edward Island along the Points East Coastal Drive offers memorable views around every corner. You will experience red sand, white sand and “singing sands” beaches. Eastern Prince Edward Island is known for its 50 + beaches not only are there many beaches you will get to enjoy harbours, lighthouses, Provincial Parks, 5 Star Links Golf Courses, hiking and biking trails, heritage roads, craft shops, festivals & events and those memorial vistas around every corner.
Selkie Shores is located in Launching which is in the center of eastern PEI. It is only 10 minutes from the village of Cardigan and an hour from the capital of Prince Edward Island, Charlottetown. The historical village of Georgetown is 20 minutes from the beach house and you will find dining, sea glass studios, island crafts, water adventures, and a historical walk tour around the old town. The Georgetown theatre always has local talent preforming throughout the year that is a must see.
The island has 30 courses some 9 holes as well as the 18 holes and the links courses. For those golfing enthusiasts you will find 2 Provincial Golf Courses 20 minutes away the Brudenell and Dundarave 20 minutes from the house and the links at Crowbush only 40 minutes away.
As you tour the island you will find many lighthouses. The East Point Lighthouse offers tours where you get the history of the lighthouses of the island and you can walk to the top for an incredible 360 degree view of the island coast line. There are many other lighthouses to explore in eastern PEI such as the Point Prim Lighthouse the only round lighthouse on the island and the first to be built.
During your island tours you will find many hills and harbours, red clay heritage roads, many farms with the island crops, breathtaking ocean views and many craft shops selling island treasures. There are lots of festival and events throughout the island communities to enjoy.
