This secluded two story open concept living beach house offers seven bedrooms and four bathrooms with all the comforts of home. Everything you will need for a memorable Prince Edward Island vacation can be found at this unique oceanfront summer rental. Just relax on the deck and be mesmerized by the beauty of our islands shore with its wildlife, soaring bald eagles and whales spouting in the distance. For those who want more activities can walk the miles of beach to the east and west, take the canoe for a paddle or try your hand at tennis and basketball on the tennis court located at the rental.
The main floor provides a fully equipped kitchen, dining room with seating for 12 and the living room with the wood burning island stone fireplace. Two bedrooms are located on the main floor; master has a queen bed and ensuite bathroom and second bedroom with queen. Another bathroom is located on the main floor as well as the sunporch, which has a second table, fridge and stove perfect for those large group rentals.
Second floor has four bedrooms, two bathrooms and sitting room. The 1st bedroom has a double bed and single bed, 2nd bedroom has a queen, 3rd has two singles, and 4th has a queen. The sitting room offers a queen pullout sofa as well as TV and DVD player. The patio doors lead out to the upstairs deck from this room.
The beach house is 15 minutes to the seaside town of Souris where you can find all needed amenities. There are restaurants, grocery stores, liquor store, craft shops, fresh seafood, farmers market, health clinics Post Office and PEI tourism Information Centre.
As you leave Sagewill the oceanfront beach house and head east you will find East Point lighthouse about a seven minute drive away. Climb to the top for an incredible 360 degree view or browse the craft shop. After leaving the lighthouse continue on route 16 to North Lake Harbour, which is called the "Tuna Capital of the World". Deep-sea fishing and tuna charters are available at the wharf and there is a great beach located there as well. Elmira Train Station and Confederation walking and biking trail is the next spot you should visit.
If you head west from the beach house you will come to Basin Head Beach and fishery museum, Red Point Provincial Park, Bothwell beach then into the seaside town of Souris. As you leave Souris there are beach shacks at the Souris Gateway Provincial Beach with fresh seafood, crafts, bike and paddleboard rentals are available. Rollo Bay is the next community and there you will find the Rollo Bay Flats, a great clamming beach and a seal colony. The island is known for its golf courses so be sure to check out the Provincial Courses like Brudenell Golf Course, Dundarave golf course or Crowbush golf course. Charlottetown the capital of Prince Edward Island is 45 minutes from the town of Souris and about 75 minutes from the beach house.
