Panmure Provincial Park and Beach is only a few minutes away, it spots a long white sandy beach and dunes as well as the Panmure Island Lighthouse museum. Also at the park is the sandbar grill, change rooms and showers and on duty life guards. The beach in front of the house is normally calm and great for swimming, walking, gathering shells and drift wood, digging for clams and scallops, gathering mussels or searching for sea glass and arrowheads. It is also a great spot to launch our kayaks for a tour of St. Mary's Bay. And when you return from the beach, the outdoor shower will come in handy for sandy feet.
