Upon descending the long, hidden driveway lined with fir trees & sprinkled with fearless bunnies, you'll emerge into a totally unexpected field to find Moose Point Beach House austerely nestled at its centre. Like a wood-shingled welcome beacon, you'll instantly feel like you've come home, and once you notice the lack of power lines anywhere to be found, you may even feel like you've stepped 2 centuries into the past! But rest assured, Moose Point has every comfort of home.
Once inside, you'll be pleasantly surprised to find an open, contemporary space filled with natural lighting and comfy accoutrements. Drop your bags & explore, because you're going to want to stay awhile. With 3 bedrooms upstairs, one off the living room, and one in the bottom level, there are plenty of beds to go around. The master, tenderly referred to as the “moon room” because of its incredible unobstructed view on a full moon night, is complete with ensuite bath for total privacy and comfort. The next room down the hall is quaint and elegant with a queen size bed that pays homage to the history of the home. Its headboard is constructed from the original windows of the farmhouse it used to be. Lastly, the dormitory at the end of the hall boasts a sophisticated set of twin beds and a cozy lounge that comfortably converts into a 3rd bedding option.
Move downstairs via either stairwell dropping you into the entryway or the kitchen and the immensity of the open floor plan from kitchen to living will take your breath away. With sweeping water views across the length of the house, you can choose to enjoy the landscape while cooking in the fully equipped, kitchen, whose adornment is reminiscent of the signature PEI island mud, or lounge in the cozy living room reading a newly discovered treasure or enjoying the company of your housemates. Radiant Heated Floors, all three levels plus ceiling fans and windows in every Room. Gracefully furnished, including an eclectic mix of Orientals & Hooked rugs, polished & rustic antiques, and comfy, contemporary quality furniture. Not only is there Oceanfront there is also an untouched Riverfront excellent for clam-digging in the shallow, calm waters. The Oceanfront is protected by immense sand bars excellent for kids, sun-bathing on floats, kayaking, paddle-boarding, sailing or making sandcastles. Large deck around the beach house offers lounge chairs for sun-bathing or reading, deck furniture and picnic table is perfect for al fresco dining & cocktails. The island has an abundance of fresh seafood for all your island cuisine.
Moose Point Beach House has a big, oceanfront Fire Pit for marshmallow toasting under starry, summer nights, or Milky Way gazing afforded by zero light pollution in the peaceful, rural setting. Be sure to check out the wooded acres with mossy, fir-lined trails & picnic areas.

Moose Point vacation rental is only a 20 minute drive to the seaside town of Souris, 30 minutes to Montague the largest town in eastern PEI and 60 minutes to Charlottetown hustle & bustle of the capital of Prince Edward Island. Although you are in a rural area of PEI you are close to all amenities you will need for your island summer vacation.
The beach house is on the Points East Coastal Drive, which is a designated scenic drive along the coast of eastern Prince Edward Island. Be sure to take the tour during your stay. You will find breathtaking vista around every corner with the miles of sandy beaches and dunes throughout the drive. Many working harbors are picture perfect and ready for you to explore. Lighthouses guarding the waterways, heritage red dirt country roads, Confederation Trails, museums, winery’s, miles of beach, quaint villages, and craft shops of the island can be explored all along the Coastal Drive.
There are many golf courses across PEI and in the eastern region we have several. The Dundarave, Brudenell and the Links at Crowbush Cove are three Provincial Golf Courses that are among them. In the east we also brag about the 50 plus beaches we have, one we are famous for is the Basin Head “Singing Sands” and we can’t for get to mention the Greenwich National Park with it parabolic dunes. When you are on holidays staying at the Moose Point Beach House you are no more than one hour away from all this.
The island is very well known for its fresh seafood. During your vacation you will find it in the many fish shacks, harbours and grocery stores. All along the roadways of the island you will find fresh road stands selling fresh vegetables and berries be sure to always bring the cooler so you are prepared.
